Dukes Bar & Grille at 5302 Carlisle Pike, Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.

I’ve stopped in at Dukes on several occasions for lunch and I have to agree with what others have said, there is nothing memorable here except maybe a good beer selection.

The atmosphere is nice, it’s new with the wood oven going in the kitchen, very cozy and warm.

I have gotten a few sandwiches which were OK, the Italian meatball sandwich was good. I’ve had the burger which I expected to be better than fast food, which was just not – at all, bland and overcooked. Fries limp and greasy.

Dukes seems like a place that should be better – but sadly, not for me. The service is always painfully slow. Were here for lunch! – we have to work, sometimes we are in here for over an hour and no one seems to have any sense of urgency.

Sadly I’m sure I will be back to Dukes because it is convenient – but I have no expectations of it improving
